FY25 included an $88m Kapuni gas-to-urea write-down, so statutory NPAT can look far worse than underlying earnings. FY26 reinstated a rebate after three years. Compare with Ravensdown rather than NZX dairy names.

NZX-listed mānuka honey and bee-product company (not USX). Earnings track honey harvest, inventory and China/retail demand — a different cycle from dairy. FY-end is 30 June. Reported NPAT in FY24–FY25 was dominated by impairments and inventory write-downs; HY26 returned to a small statutory profit. Read underlying/normalised EBIT in the company pack alongside statutory NPAT.

NZX-listed wine group (Oyster Bay and related brands). Vintage quality, US/UK channel mix and grape supply matter more than the dairy calendar. The company steers to Operating NPAT; statutory NPAT includes grape fair-value swings. FY-end 30 June.
