About
NZ Agri-Insights is a free, public tracker for New Zealand primary-sector financial reporting. The problem it tries to solve is simple: the same companies sit on different venues (NZX, USX, or nowhere), many filings are thin 1-pagers, co-ops publish extra packs on their own sites, and reporting cadence is not uniform.
What you will find
- One directory of listed, co-op, SOE and a few private names.
- Short background so a results release has context.
- Cadence (annual, interim, quarterly update, or seasonal) and an estimated next window.
- Links to the exchange filing and the company’s own report where it exists.
- Curated KPIs and a small multi-year history, typed in from public documents.
Venues
NZX issuers have continuous disclosure. USX is an exempt broker-traded market — investors do not have the same insider-trading, substantial-holding or continuous-disclosure protections as on NZX. SOEs (Pāmu) table reports in Parliament. Unlisted co-ops publish on their own websites, often once a year.
How data is updated
There is no single free API that covers NZX, USX, co-ops and SOEs. Each company is a YAML file in
the git repo. When a result is released, someone adds a reports row and KPI fields, then
rebuilds the static site. See the project README for the exact steps.
Disclaimer
This site is a compilation of publicly available information. Figures may be rounded, restated, or defined differently across issuers (for example Pāmu’s net operating profit versus statutory NPAT, or NZ Rural Land’s AFFO). Always read the original announcement and financial statements. Nothing here is financial advice, an offer of securities, or a recommendation to buy or sell.
